Smith Mountain Morning

This Bonnie Hunter design quilt has been on my list for a year or two since I quilted Andee's beauty.
I think it's my all time BH favorite so when I saw this post on Andee's blog I thought I must join in with Jo's challenge and finally get to work - isn't it beautiful?
Andee had given me her left over bits so I have incorporated those with my own fabric choices and been busily cutting.
It may not look like much but it is some hours work, and there is still much to do- I have yet to cut the strips for the Log Cabin/Courthouse Steps blocks and all the pieces for the borders!
And here I am also committed to Bonnie's newest mystery, Celtic Solstice which begins November 29th.
Sigh, this is absolutely all that I can cope with at one time, in fact SMM may have to become an ongoing project with no set timeline! Andee seems to be able to juggle a lot of different projects at one time but I cannot!

This is on my to do list, too. I love the colors...I love the pattern. I know I will join in on the new mystery so Smith Mountain will have to wait a bit longer.

LOL Ros! You will get them both done and will be so proud of yourself! I really like putting a project away for a bit and then getting it out like it is all new again! And then suddenly there are four finishes going on! :)
