I AM BACK AGAIN, HALLELUJAH!

Not sure how it happened but I have managed to actually sign into my Blog for the first time in two years! It's a miraculous accident as I had been trying for a long time and tonight tried signing in through my iPad and the reader and was shocked when it worked. Can I repeat it? We shall see, meantime I will try to keep this open on my desktop. Just have to keep the kiddos off it tomorrow.

I have been very busy as usual though I miss the ability to update my quilting life on the Blog. Church, the gym, quilting, my two youngest grandchildren and a host of other commitments keep me going every day when I would have expected at my age to be kicking back relaxing, but oh no! It does keep me getting out of bed every day to start on "the List", the never-ending list!

Today is our 55th. Wedding Anniversary where did the time go, who stole my life and how do couples stay together that long. I could never have imagined it, even though I saw my beloved parents in 60 years of loving marriage, God bless them in Heaven where they are together now.

Picture below was taken last month in Nashville where we joined 13 others to celebrate the 21st.birthday of our twin great niece and nephew from Boston. It was a wonderful time but for the octogenarians in the group somewhat exhausting-are we just too old for that much fun? It was lovely and I felt very honored to be included with so many, more youthful family members. This is the most recent photo I have of us to show on our anniversary taken on our Nashville adventure.

This is the Convergence quilt design from Ricky Timms with his
collated hand dyes. I purchased the kit a couple of years back and
finally got it done and love it! Don't think I'm ready to part with it!

Quilted freehand matching thread colors on my
wonderful Prodigy with brushed cotton backing
and Aussie wool batting.

Quilted with my old fave Baptist Fan that seems to blend all
the different blocks into a cohesive whole.
Hopefully I can return to add some more
eye candy on the weekend.
