VTT Inarco Statues

It's that "loverly time of the week'' again when we display our vintages treasures so follow the thread over at Colorado Lady's blog!

I saw these sweet little children in the Humane Society Thrift Shop in Ridgway, CO.
I was very tempted to buy them but they were about $6 each and I baulked at the price.

A month later I decided to check on them and they were still there but the price was only $3, I couldn't pass them up.

They are so very cute, I had to make room for them in the china cabinet.

I looked them up on the internet but didn't see much on them.
There were a couple on eBay though no more info available there.
They have registration numbers on them so perhaps I will eventually be able to get some more background on their vintage.

Very sweet pieces...their faces are lovely! They actually look quite European to me. Please give us an update if you found out any more about them.

Roslyn, these are super cute! I was just thinking this morning about trying to look up some thrift shops close to where we will be in Colorado...my husband would just have a fit if he knew that, but hey, new stuff is so exciting...I mean new old stuff!!! Have a great VTT!

I think these are pretty collectible and usually in the $20 to $25 apiece range.... Because they match and you have the set and they are in such great shape I would say that they are a great find!!! :) I'm no expert. I'm just saying based on my research of Napco items...

Great find! So good you waited for the price to drop and they were still there.

It pays sometimes to wait. For me when I do that, the item is gone. I love these little figurines. I have several of the Hummel ones.

These are so sweet. Kind of like Hummel figurines.
I can't make quilts but I can research stuff. Check out this link:

I think you got a good deal on these little people.

Adorable! And you were rewarded for your self-restraint by getting them at a cheaper price. How cool is that?

Those figurines are darling, I'm sure they are worth much, much more than what you paid for them, I'm glad that they have found a new forever home :)
