The first, this little chimney sweep was a farewell gift from DH's Battalion when we returned to the USA.
The stamp on the base shows a trademark that is one of those called "the Last Bee". Like many manufacturers Goebel's trademark underwent periodic changes and after a couple of versions of the "stylized bee" the V and the little bee disappeared completely from their products. This was trademark #3 and was used on items until around 1972. I have no idea what the "Br" means. The little holy water font with the shepherd and lambs is the one I purchased because I thought it was adorable. I'm not sure if this is meant to represent the figure of the child Jesus because I couldn't find any info. on the web.
I was unable to find any pics of either of these two particular figurines so if anyone else has any ideas I would love to hear about it. Both are a smidge over 5" tall.

Cute little figurines! I think the Br and the Da80 could be the signatures of the persons who painted the figurines, but I'm not a specialist.
OK Dear
I believe that this blog is very right and show the figure and many use different type of figure. So I am attractive in this blog...................

I wouldn't have been able to resist the holy water font either. Precious.
I have many, many of these. Some are very old. I used to collect them, but space and money became a problem. I have the little chimney sweeper, but not the other one. In one of my books, it states,"In 1979,the stylized bee was dropped and only the name Goebel appears. The year of production will be on the base next to the initials of the chief decorator". Trust this will be of some help to you.
The Chimney Sweep is just adorable!!!
Those are cute figures. I like them better when there are only a couple. I whole collection of them seems kind of overwhelming to me.
The chimney sweep is really cute. I have never seen anything like it. Thanks for sharing.
I love these figures and have a few myself as my grandmother collected them. We see them a lot at antiques fairs here but they're a little out of fashion at the moment. I think they're so beautifully modelled and of course I like mine because they were Nanny's.
These are adorable....love the chimney sweep, he is just so cute! Happy VTT!
These are so sweet, and I especially like the chimney sweeper! I hope you eventually found the info you're looking for. Because we all know that you can find everything on the internet. Or Ebay!
Happy VTT!

Oh, these are so sweet! What lovely treasures!
My husband remembers his grandmother having a huge Goebel collection. She passed them on to her daughter (my Mother -in-law) in her will. Sadly, MIL never cared for them and decided to sell the whole lot. :-(
So they are gone. IF only she had kept one or two....
Such sweet vintage thingies!
Very sweet figurines!
