This has been a day of them for our GS, first overseas trip, first on the 380 Airbus, first time driving on the the "wrong side" of the road,
and his first Aussie "sausage roll"! He obviously is enjoying it!
Then it was off to Nelson's Bay to show him some of the gorgeous Aussie beaches.
This is Birubi Beach.
The kiosk is open all year round so we ate lunch there,
yummy calamari and the delicious Aussie "chips". Daniel said they were "the best fries he ever ate"!
Miles and thousands of miles of uncrowded beach, Daniel definitely wants to come back in the summer, though this particular beach might be shark bait for the unwary, it is well known for the Great White Sharks. Two years ago I saw one here.........yikes!
Daniel is fascinated with the "see through plastic money"!
